Prayer To The Holy Spirit for Help

Holy Spirit, Divine Consoler, I adore You as my true God, with God the Father and God the Son. I adore You and unite myself to the adoration You receive from the angels and saints. I give You my heart, and I offer my ardent thanksgiving for all the grace which You never cease to bestow on me. O Giver of all supernatural gifts, who filled the soul of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God, with such immense favors; deign also to visit me with Your grace and Your love and grant me the gift of holy fear, so that it may act upon me as a check to prevent me from ever offending You by sin. Amen

You, who give life to all creatures, and make them present in time; you open our minds to understand the Scriptures and fill our hearts with your love. Come, Holy Spirit! Guide us in the way of holiness, so that we may find rest in Christ, the way, the truth and the life.

O Holy Spirit, wherein do I find such great weakness? Darkness of mind! Blindness of the heart! Help me by Your grace; help me O Lord! In You I will trust and will not be confounded. Amen

Holy Spirit, enlighten me with Your gifts of wisdom, understanding and counsel. Help me to be more accepting of other people and understand their differences.

Spirit of Light, consoling Spirit, Sweet Guest of my soul, I adore You. Enlighten me, guide me, console me, strengthen me; tell me what I should do. Give me Your orders. I promise to submit myself to all that You desire of me and to accept all that you permit to happen to me. Let me only know Your will. Amen.

Let me have all the graces I need to perform my duties with enthusiasm.

When You descend into my heart, O divine Spirit of light and love, fill me with holy joy.
